Where can I
read about your tournaments and other
promotions?
- All information about our
current promotions and tournaments
can be found both on our website in
the poker section, as well as in the
poker client.
|
What are FPPs?
How do I get them and what can they be
used for?
- FPP (Frequent Player Points) is
a system designed to award loyal and
frequent players in the poker room.
You get FPPs for every ring game
hand played that fulfills certain
criteria, and for each tournament
fee you pay. Please see the Poker
InfoàPoker VIP Program section in
your poker client or the “About
Expekt.com Poker” section of the
poker website. You can use your FPPs
to clear bonuses, qualify for
different promotions and use them as
tournament buy-in credits. Please
mail
poker@expekt.com for further
information.
|
Can I see which
bonuses I have activated somewhere, and
what I must do to clear them?
- You can see your active bonuses
on the “Bonuses” page in the “My
Account” section of your poker
client. Here you can also see the
FPP requirement for the bonus and
your progress as well as expiration
dates.

What is a “Token”?
How do I get one and where can I use it?
- A token is a means of entry with
a fixed value used for a specific
tournament or tournament type. You
usually get tokens from tournament
satellites/qualifiers but can also
receive them through promotions.
Normally tokens can be used for only
one specific tournament or a set of
tournaments. Information is
available in the “FPPs” section in
My Account, and you can always write
to
poker@expekt.com for further
explanation. To register with a
token, simply go to the desired
tournament lobby and use the
“register” button as usual. The
system will by default select any
tokens present in your account as
preferred payment method rather than
a standard cash fee.

When trying to
make a poker transfer I get the error
message “Unable to transfer funds”. Why
is that?
- This can appear for two reasons:
1. When you try to
transfer more money than is
available in your account.
2. You have
recently been credited with a bonus
on your sportsbetting account. All
these bonuses must be turned in bets
a certain number of times before
they can be transferred to other
products. Please e-mail
support@expekt.com for further
information.
|
Can I change my
poker alias/screen name or create a new
account with expekt.com?
- Unfortunately we cannot allow a
change of screen name for security
reasons. Poker is also, to a large
extent, about learning how other
people play and specific players act.
Your screen name is the only
identity you have at the tables.
Hence, it would be very unfair to
allow players to change their screen
names. Neither is it allowed to
create more than one account at
expekt.com.

When I try to
launch the poker client it stops
suddenly and I get the error message “Cannot
Contact Gaming Server” or “Internal
Server Error”.
- These problems may be caused by
limited access through your firewall
or anti-virus/Spyware application.
The following ports are in use by
the client and have to be allowed
through a firewall: 5004, 5024,
5044, 5064, 5084.
The firewalls and proxies should be
configured to allow outgoing SSL on
all of these ports. If you have an
external anti-virus/Spyware
application please try to
temporarily inactivate these just to
make sure they are not interfering
with the client, then e-mail
poker@expekt.com for further
assistance.
|
Do I have to
make a deposit of my own to get play
money? How much play money do I get?
- Play money is completely free
and we require nothing from you,
except that you register an account
with us. You are qualified to get a
sum of $1000 play money.

My chat was disabled a while
back and now I want to use it again. How
can I get it activated
Whenever I try to chat at the
tables it is denied, what is wrong?
- We operate a strict Courtesy and
Respect Policy for the chat in our
poker network. In order for all to
understand, English only is allowed
in the chat. Abusive and/or
offensive chat is not allowed. If we
find you having chatted in an
unacceptable way, your chat may be
inactivated. Please contact
poker@expekt.com for further
information and procedure for
re-activating your chat.

In the client I have
something called All-in protection/reset,
what does this mean and why do I have a
limited number of these?
- When you are disconnected while
playing at our site a function
called "All-in Protection" may be
activated. When this is done, you
are registered by the system as
all-in without having to commit more
money to the pot than what you have
already paid. Hence, you will be
able to win a side pot reflecting
the amount you have already paid,
without having to call a raise made
by your opponent at a subsequent
stage in the hand.
- As this function gives you a
good chance of winning a pot without
risk you only have a limited amount
to limit misuse of it. When you have
used up your All-in Protections you
will be able to request a Reset. At
this point we will investigate the
times you have used this protection
and if no misuse can be found, we
will clear you for a reset, again
giving you the amount you started
with.
